I'm not sure I agree with the assessment of Reed at all. I mean, sure he always assumes he's right, but that's because, well, he normally is. The central difference between Reed Richards and Victor Von Doom is that Reed can admit he's wrong and work his ass off to make amends, while Doom is unable to admit to any mistakes.

(Also: More text than I meant to write on that matter there.)
