And this was the reality of superhero Halloween costumes when we were kids. I see the young'ins now in their comics/movies-accurate, cloth costumes, and think "they have no idea how good they have it."
Yeah, why on Earth did it take costume companies so long to grasp that kids would prefer costumes that, y'know, looked like the actual superhero's costume? I mean, I understand the things were cheap, but they didn't even TRY.
