How obnoxious would it be of me to point out that its the subject of the testimony that took place on June 5th and not the testimony itself (unless, No-Prize alert, the trial's occurring a year later)?

@Blam!: I've thought about that a lot (especially this year!) and pretty much decided that in most cases, I'll go with the date in the panel.

Sometimes I won't, but that might be because of rule of funny.
